Digital Image Mission Statement

I consider my photography as a form of art, as well as my livelihood.
Each photo taken at a session is meticulously inspected.
The next step is the editing process, which enhances each photo.
The entire process is time consuming; it requires knowledge and skill.
No particular session or photo is alike.  My images are literally 'one of a kind'...my kind.
There is a lot more to the art of Photography, than just 'clicking the capture button'.

I feel that the images I capture and create are valuable.
They are images of YOUR memories, which are PRICELESS.
Our session together is an investment, and should be treated as such.
Photos should not be reproduced from just any printer or kiosk.
(Wal-Mart, CVS, Walgreen's, Meijer, etc)
Most 'convenient store' printers are NOT color calibrated,
and are programmed to crop the photo (causing distortion, pixelation, etc.)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND USING mpix.com if you choose to do your own printing!

When my images are printed from kiosks, it is a FALSE  representation of my work.
I ABSOLUTELY do NOT want my artwork displayed from these printers.
My photos are custom-made by hand, and require a higher quality process when printed.
I use professional imaging labs to do my photo printing.
I have also created an online print store, to make the ordering process convenient and easy for clients.
The lab will deliver the prints to your home (if you are not local)
or I will hand deliver them to you; saving you time, money, and hassle!
They have a standard archival value of 100 years in home display; 200 years in dark storage. They are also designed to protect the photo from the elements.

Therefore, I have a policy in regards to burnt discs containing image files.
I do not distribute them freely.
The price of the disc will be included in your package, and on an individual basis.
Once purchased, I highly recommend that they not be self-printed. But if you choose to do so, PLEASE use mpix.com
The image profiles are only compatible with the printing labs that I use.
If prints and products are desired, please contact me at anytime, and we can place an order.
I store each of my client's photos on a disc, in case of future need.
My prices are very reasonable, considering that I do all of the work for you.
Self-printing will end up costing you MORE in the long run,
when the cost of gas, time, and hassle are configured.
Self-printed images (with the exception of mpix.com) can result in:
  • Photo distortion,
  • Discoloration,
  • Insufficient image/file resolution, etc.
  • False representation of my artwork - this is the MOST critical
  • Potential rendering of photos that are completely unusable.

Failure to comply with this request could (and will)  result in a breach of copyright laws.

However, digital files may be used for presentation on social media accounts
such as (Facebook, Twitter, a personal blog, etc.).
I offer digital downloads for individual purchase from my print store.
The only condition is that the photos be left as is.
Please do not crop, edit, or manipulate the image in any way.

Thank you for respecting my craft, art form, and hard work.
I am grateful for your business, loyalty, and support!
I truly appreciate your understanding and compliance!
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
God Bless!
